Wireshark 2.0 Fileset Issue

I’ve been using, presenting and teaching protocol analysis for a while with Wireshark, as well as other products.

For those who have read and seen any of my videos, you probably know that I have a keen interest in what I call, “Tool Calibration”. This term quite simply refers to how your tool behaves and the need to understand how your favorite tool works.

In this example, I thought I would show you a known and reported bug regarding Wireshark’s File Set feature and to work around it.
