Tim O'Neil has over 50 years in the data test and diagnostics market. He has focused the last 40 years on digital data diagnostic tools, analysis and teaching the technology he has passion for.
Tim has held positions from Design and Development Engineer, to Corporate Director and VP of Technology. He was one of the founders of Clearsight Networks / AppDancer.
Started www.lovemytool.com in 2007, with partner Denny Miu ( founder of Gigamon) to help technologists and small companies get known with a focus on teaching technologists how to "Know their Network" and solve issues using open source and dedicated technologies!
Tony Fortunato is a Senior Network Performance Specialist with experience in design, implementation and troubleshooting networks since 1989.
Tony will teach or troubleshoot on your live network, with your staff as part of his customized onsite training service.
Tony's background in networking started with design, support and implementation of financial, trading floor networks and ISP's where Tony integrated and supported various vendors' equipment. Tony works with a variety of products from Microsoft, NetAlly, Profitap and other Open Source products such as protocol analyzers (Wireshark), iperf and MRTG.
Tony has presented at numerous Colleges/Universities, public forums and private classes to thousands of analysts since 1999.
Tony has worked in various roles ranging from management, project management, network design, consulting, troubleshooting, designing customized courses and installing physical equipment, those daunting datacenter clean-ups and network migration projects.
Paul W. Smith -- leader, educator, technologist, writer -- has a lifelong interest in the countless ways that technology changes the course of our journey through life. In addition to being a regular contributor to LoveMyTool, he maintains the website Technology for the Journey and occasionally writes for Blogcritics.
Paul has over 40 years of experience in research and advanced development for companies ranging from small startups to industry leaders. His other passion is teaching - he is a former Adjunct Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines.
Paul holds a doctorate in Applied Mechanics from the California Institute of Technology, as well as Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
