Enabling Telnet Client in Windows 7

This week I was working with a client and asked him to telnet to his switch. He mentioned that he couldn’t telnet from Windows 7 since it seems to be lacking a telnet client. He then explained that he usually downloads and uses another telnet client to get work done. Unfortunately we did not have network access and I thought I would share a tip with him.

I showed him how to quickly reinstall Microsoft’s telnet client and we were back in business in no time.
