Looping Packets, The Continuation

The last few articles introduced you to a problem that I’m working on.

The client was complaining about intermittent poor network performance and wireless devices dropping off the network.

In the previous articles, you saw that there was some sort of loop causing a large amount of small packets on the network, which would probably result in the problem stated by the client.

I’ve shown you how to reduce the size of the large trace file and I have already asked the client to look into a possible misconfiguration on their firewall/router.

In this video I show you how we validate that the loop is in fact still happening and now from looking at it from the client's perspective, I notice that there is a redirect happening as well. This redirect is from a new mystery box that I’m not familiar with. So I asked the client to look into that box.
